About Us

Fırat University's Early Childhood Education Program was opened under the roof of the Department of Primary Education during the 2008-2009 academic year in order to train the early childhood teachers that our country needs. At the end of the 2024-2025 academic year, we will give our 14th-semester graduates in our department, where 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professor, and 3 Research Assistants work. Our chairmanship of the department is carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filiz ELMALI. The courses taught in our department consist of early childhood education, field courses related to child development, as well as education courses necessary for effective and efficient early childhood education.
