Sharing of the Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Model Preschool Education Program and Implementation Examples

An event introducing the “Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Model Preschool Education Program” was held with the participation of our first and fourth-year students enrolled in the Preschool Education Department of our faculty. Organized under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Rukiyye Yıldız Altan within the scope of the Introduction to University Life course, the event featured experienced preschool teachers who introduced the Maarif Model Preschool Education Program to our students.

Our first-year students gained information about the current preschool education program. In addition, our senior teacher candidates learned about preparing plans within the framework of the program, support practices and documents they can benefit from, and had the opportunity to examine examples of qualified implementation.

In this regard, we would like to extend our thanks to Enise Kartal, a teacher at Barış Pınarı Kindergarten, and Mustafa Ökmen, a teacher at Yusuf Saniye Soylu Kindergarten, for sharing their knowledge and experiences with our students. We would also like to thank Asst. Prof. Dr. Rukiyye Yıldız Altan in particular, as well as all our students who contributed to and participated in the event.
